Question: My spouse has been in the military for 3 years and has been getting BAH from me for about 2 years I’m planning on signing up will I receive Bah during boot camp ? I have zero dependents but we are married
idk the difference between military/army, but i looked it up and it said 2 years for about 25,000. that’s the average amount for one year of working, so is that right??

As a USMC boot in 1961……three months of boot camp…..we were paid once at the end of boot camp forty bucks a month…..minus whatever they deducted; dont remember.

My wife is in my home country ghana because I already have my green card and I'm presently in US I'm planning to apply for the US army would I get bah even tho shes not present here in US
Also if I may ask the Bah is it only payed if u have kids or ure married while in basic training also what if who you're married to is not present in the USA

So the base pay on the chart is what you get paid twice a month, or is that amount split into two payments that you get paid the two times per month?
If u are 35 and join how long is basic training?
If you not married you can cut this pay in half

How does it work for a married person with 2 kids as dependan? Do you get any money aside of what they pay you while you are in basic training?
Question i know you get paid for being in the army. Lets say you're nurse in the army. Do you get paid for being there and your job as a nurse.
